Introduction
In today’s competitive marketplace, product manuals can be much more than just instructions on how to use a product’s features.
Good news
Just yesterday, I heard firsthand from Reako, the head of a Canadian tech company, that the technology for presenting product manuals (including videos) with QR codes is ripe for the picking, which is exceptionally good news.
This offers significant benefits for end-product customers, such as reduced packaging costs, environmental protection, lower carbon footprints, enhanced brand communication, and digital assets…
Such zero-distance interaction with consumers not only helps to increase consumer satisfaction but also fosters consumer loyalty to the brand.
Loyal consumers are more likely to become long-term supporters of the brand and recommend it through word-of-mouth in a wider market, which significantly expands the brand’s influence.
Bad news
Anything with a good side must also have a bad side.
The downside I can think of is that the majority of printing manual factory orders will plummet.
For example, when e-books first came out, our counterparts in book printing experienced a sudden drop in orders.
Wrapping it up
As everyone has been saying:
‘It’s not necessarily your peers who will take you down.’
This serves as encouragement for us and our colleagues in the printing and packaging industry.
In the general trend towards environmental protection, if major well-known end-product brands accept this technology and take the lead in implementing it, it could have a significant impact with minimal effort.

As a leading Chinese factory specializing in printing and packaging, we extend our advanced subcontracting services to international industry peers seeking reliable production capabilities.
Doing the right thing today, ensuring a better tomorrow.
